Estrienn is a spy. She was sent to Kallikot, where she expected to be captured and placed in Kallikot’s Nest. There she would have picked up information from men who selected her as their sex partner for an evening. Instead, she was “rescued” by Grayvle and Heldrick—which put her in an even better position for obtaining information.

But for the next six months, she is unable to report anything she’s learned, and by the time an opportunity arises, she’s torn between loyalty to her home citadel, and respect for and friendship with Heldrick and Grayvle. To make her choice even harder, she is falling in love with Grayvle.

But with Heldrick launching a successful coup and taking over leadership of Kallikot Citadel, she feels she must report. Not until Grayvle catches her in the act does she realize what a horribly wrong choice she’s made. Determined to redeem herself, she makes plans to get information from her home citadel and give it to Grayvle and Heldrick.
